About Surah Ya-Sin
Surah Ya-Sin is the 36th chapter of the Holy Quran. It is a Makki Surah — revealed in Makkah — containing 83 Ayahs. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ described it as the heart of the Quran (qalb al-Quran), and it is among the most recited Surahs in the Muslim world.
The Surah opens with the mysterious letters "Yā Sīn" and covers the themes of Prophethood, resurrection, the power of Allah, and the stories of past nations. It is widely recited for the deceased, during times of difficulty, and as a daily recitation for blessings.
