About Surah Al-Mulk
Surah Al-Mulk (The Sovereignty), also known as "Tabarak" after its opening word, is the 67th Surah of the Holy Quran. It contains 30 Ayahs and was revealed in Makkah. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ recommended reciting it every night before sleep, saying it intercedes for its reciter on the Day of Judgement and protects from the punishment of the grave.
The Surah begins by glorifying Allah who has power over all things, and Who created death and life as a test. It describes the beauty and perfection of the heavens, the punishment of disbelievers, and the blessings given to believers. It ends with a reminder of Allah's complete knowledge and power.
